Who We Are: Our Story

Kayla Stauffer and Liz Curtis are the Co-Founders and Principal Designers who formed Dovetail Group in 2015 after seeing the need in the marketplace for a comprehensive design solution. Kayla’s background is in interior remodeling, as well as construction management. Liz’s background is in home furnishings and finish and fixture selections. Dovetail Group blends both areas of expertise providing services for interior remodeling, as well as furnishings, decor and overall styling of a home. Dovetail Group has diverse capabilities when it comes to project scope in that we can take on residential remodels, furniture and styling projects, residential new build construction, and commercial projects.

Our Location

Our Interior Design studio is based in the Village of WestClay in Carmel, Indiana. In addition to offering virtual design services, we primarily serve the areas of Carmel, Meridian/Kessler, Williams Creek, Geist, Fishers, Zionsville, Noblesville, Whitestown, Lebanon, Westfield, and Sheridan.
